Features and characters of the individual

Amongst species in the willow family, the “weeping” willow is the most well known. Impossible to confuse with anything else, its long fine branches dangle almost to the ground and sway with the wind. It has a yellow colour almost all year. This species often leans over water, as if were trying to see its golden reflection. This tree has the canal! Standing as straight as a lighthouse, it looks as if it is keeping guard at the Molenbeek lock.
