Usefulness and services of the tree :
Features and characters of the individual
This fig tree has adapted well to the Brussels weather. No doubt because it grows against a wall, facing south, and sheltered from the wind. It has found its place in a community vegetable garden. It is surrounded by fruit trees, spices, aromatic plants and vegetables. It is also cherished by gardeners who take care of the land and work to enrich the biodiversity in this green setting. This tree is from a rare species (for Brussels), and can be discovered near Tour & Taxis, when the gardeners are there, together with the small surrounding edible forest.
