Features and characters of the individual
The inhabitants of Bosveldweg enjoy the pleasant view of this chestnut tree. It grew freely and serenely at the end of the garden of a pretty half-timbered house. It took advantage of the space, and released its immense, well-rounded and well-balanced crown. It grows over the hedge, forms a canopy above the street, and brushes with the rooftops of houses nearby. This plant-made dome seems to guard the entire neighbourhood.
