Identity
Features and characters of the individual
This apple tree is the tallest and most generous tree of the "Anthon's vegetable garden". It grows among about twenty fruit trees: cherry trees, pear trees... which grow quietly on a ground stuck between the city on the one hand, the ring and the railway tracks on the other hand. This piece of land will be built in the long term... In the meantime, it is managed freely by a collective of gardeners living in the area. The coexistence of small and large plants is important to them:
"A vegetable garden has fewer soul without berries and fruit trees. Everyone marvels at seeing apple trees in bloom, eating an apple picked directly from the tree. There is enough space to plant fruit trees all over the city: it allows you to connect with nature, to taste good fruit without pesticides and which should not come by truck".
Hoping that this will inspire you to plant fruit trees wherever you can 😉 Enjoy
