Two benches were placed either side of this walnut tree. But this tree has only spread out its beautiful silhouette on one side. As if by coincidence, it’s the bench covered by this tree that entices more walkers. It leans over them delicately, as if to keep them company or listen to their stories. Walnut trees normally have a well-rounded crown. Did this tree lose one of its main branches during its earlier years? Or did it grow next to another tree that has since disappeared?
