Features and characters of the individual
This individual grows inconspicuously on the edge of Egmont Park. Its trunk is divided into two large main branches: one extends towards the houses on Rue du Grand Cerf and their small gardens, and the other towards the more wooded part of the park. Its silhouette makes it look more like it is covered in leaves than conifers. However, its fragrance is unmistakable: it is a conifer! Its small spirals of short needles, as well as its barrel-shaped cones with very close scales, are further indicators that this is indeed a Lebanon cedar.
