Features and characters of the individual

“French style” gardening is reflected in the geometric shapes of the boxwood hedges and yew balls. The largest boxwood, in the centre of the 2nd terrace of the gardens of Abbey of La Cambre, may be over a hundred years old. This page is enriched with an illustration from the Belgian Federal State Collection, which is on permanent loan to the [Meise Botanical Garden.] (https://www.plantentuinmeise.be/en/home/)
